I actually would not recommend trying to learn C or C++ first. Since Pawn is more limited, you will get used to being able to do certain things when working with C/C++ and then later find that you can't use them.

oh ok Hawk thanks, I got a the site with lots of PDFs and a test so I can learn PAWN. Thx for the help. I'll post something in the Scripting Help Forum whenever I have a prob.

I would actually post at AlliedModders with any general scripting problems.
